healthcentrix Web-to-Print Artwork Solution
Overview
healthcentrix enables non-technical staff to produce print ready, branded artwork from any internet enabled location. With only a web browser, users can login to create artwork based on a wide variety of templates and formats. The resulting artwork is downloaded as a PDF for printing externally or internally and can be used for web publication.
Layout Templates ensure that all publications fully comply with NHS identity guidelines in the use of colour, logos and fonts. For external, professionally printed documents, the system automatically adds printers information, bleed, crop marks and colour separations. Content can be in most global languages including Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Simplified Chinese and Japanese. All images are sourced from a centralised image library containing commonly used NHS photography and graphics.
How does it work?
healthcentrix is powered by an innovative software solution called brandcentrix™, developed by EIBS Ltd. This product allows administrators to create a variety of ‘master artwork’ which can then be tailored by users at a local level. Local variations of the artwork can be saved in specific folders and referenced with a distinct code for fast and simple retrieval. Local variations might include, specific organisational logos, contact details and translations.
Sharing Knowledge>Saving Costs
As master artwork is added into the system, it can be made available to other users who can then create their own local versions. In this way healthcentrix not only encourages the sharing of knowledge, but also generates significant time and cost savings. Taking Patient Information Leaflets (PILS) as an example; the advice given to asthma sufferers in Manchester could be the same as that given in London. At the local level the master PILS could be distinguished with specific Trust logos, contact details and translated into different languages.
Below are just a few examples of the type of artwork that can be created using healthcentrix. These PDF documents can be downloaded to view, print or save to your computer.
