East & North Herts NHS Trust
After a formal tender process, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust have chosen EasySite CMS to manage their Intranet.
Established in 2001, the trust manages a total of three hospitals which include Hertford County in Hertford, Lister in Stevenage and Queen Elizabeth II in Welwyn Garden City. With over 4,000 employees these three hospitals provide a range of major in patient services including Accident & Emergency and Maternity to 640,000 local residents.
A single copy of EasySite Community Solution enables the trust to manage multiple ‘partner’ Intranet sites within a single environment. Hosted locally the Intranet sites will enable staff to access a wide variety of information, from contact databases to job opportunities.
Each Intranet within the solution can:
Have its own unique domain name
Have a distinct identity and graphic design
Share information with other community sites
Maintain a site – specific or global search engine enabling staff to find relevant content quickly and easily
Other third party systems can be integrated with EasySite and therefore existing databases have been utilised. The trust has also invested in various EasySite plugin modules to develop the capabilities of their Intranet, these modules include:
