The Football Foundation - Content Management for Charities

The Football Foundation is one of the UK's most progressive charities and is funded by the FA Premier League, the Football Association and the Government, the Football Foundation over the past three years has funded over 1000 projects nationwide worth a total of £300 million.

 

Previously the Foundation had a static website which could only be updated by the company who had originally created it. This process was both costly and time consuming for the Foundation. The Foundation wanted a system that enabled them to bring this process in house.

After a formal tender process the Football Foundation chose EasySite CMS to drive their new website.

 

EasySite enables users without any previous technical knowledge to create and maintain an unlimited number of pages, sections and directories. The integrated content moderation functionality enables site Administrators to view content before it 'goes live' on the site.

The foundation have also invested in various EasySite Modules, including the Mailing List Module, which enables visitors to the site to register their details to receive email bulletins on specified areas of interest.

 

The Directory Builder, will allow site administrators to create online databases with dynamic in-built search capabilities.

EasySite allows the Foundation to effectively drive up to date information to target audiences such as schools, local authorities and football teams and provide access to the development of activities, national facilities and events.
